Incorporated in 2004, Tri-Universal Inc. was founded by Harmony Hunt, who also serves as the company’s CEO.

Tri-Universal takes on administrative tasks for nonprofit organizations and ethical businesses, allowing them to spend more time on activism and achieving long-term goals. Tri-Universal Inc.’s mission has been to create positive change in the world by starting in small communities.

When the Tri-Universal Inc. team isn’t working on nonprofit or business activities, the company holds annual drives to provide communities with aid and supplies. The Winter Kit Drive, Annual Toy Drive and Back to School Drive are among the programs Tri-Universal holds to positively impact and aid the people who need it.

How did Covid 19 impact the nonprofit sector?

With nonprofits facing a multitude of preexisting challenges, the world then faced a global pandemic that disrupted life on all levels. Every kind of nonprofit had to cut budgets to survive. Sacrifices were made within organizations and in households as everyone tried to physically and financially survive as the world shut down.

A scholarly article published in the National Library of Medicine titled, “COVID‐19 as a nonprofit workplace crisis: Seeking insights from the nonprofit workers’ perspective” notes that nonprofits across the United States reported operational fallout from the pandemic, including weakened revenue streams and heightened demand for services and support.

While there were immediate impacts that lasted for months for nonprofits, a 2020 survey also showed that organizations proved resilient thanks to innovative thinking and creative fundraising. From virtual fundraising to emergency fundraising and special appeals, nonprofits faced changing circumstances and found new ways to communicate needs with donors.
